"We have found the opportunity through Inspiration Ministries to express not just our feelings but also the words that the Holy Spirit puts in our hearts to share with others. I see I.M. as a channel of communication between the church...read more

Letter from the Editor
I often try to write my sections of the Inspiration Ministries newsletter when I am particularly inspired by the Holy Spirit, and I find myself so excited to communicate with you once again. Hallelujah! I pray the grace of God will saturate your heart as you read our April edition.
The Lord Jesus Christ is my ultimate inspiration daily as I ask Him to live His life through me. As the body of Christ, we use this month to commemorate His death and resurrection, and I praise Him because it is His death that allowed me to finally live. It is His resurrection that displays His power to use a wretch like me for His gory. That is something worth dancing about! Rejoice with me, Brothers and Sisters, because we serve a risen King who holds all of creation in the palm of His hands. Awesome!
As I draw my inspiration from Jesus, I have been especially inspired by you, our readers, the body of Christ, and those who love the Lord enough to admit that they need some help. Jesus has made it clear that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. I am thankful that as children of God, we are in this together. We need each other more than ever right now.
This past Sunday as I worshipped at my home church, Heritage Community Church, in Auburn, Indiana, I was over-run with emotion because Jesus Christ has so satisfied my heart. He has saved me from sin and death and set my feet on solid ground. It took me back to my days of praise and worship in prison at Quincy Annex, Liberty, and Franklin when I would be trying to sing, dance, jump around, and cry all at the same time. I was a real mess, but so invigorated by the Spirit of God. The Lord filled me with a joy that was truly unspeakable.
I once again had tears running down my cheeks because my heart beats so intensely for the things God. Being called to serve the Lord in ministry is awesome. It can also be overwhelming because it is hard to turn my mind off when my head is filled with a million ideas. There is no doubt that many of you have felt the same way. So, through the tears and submission, I continually see the hearts of you who seek after God, and it is in you that I find my inspiration.
Let me encourage you to look solely into the eyes of Jesus for the strength you need when your back is up against the wall. We never know how strong we actually are until being strong is the only option we have left. Be assured that when it seems like you are on the edge, I love you, our Inspiration staff loves you, and, most importantly, Jesus Christ loves you unconditionally.
Inspired as always,
