Letter from the Editor

Lord, we submit our ambition, will, ministries, and most importantly our lives to the good, perfect, and acceptable will of God. We declare that Inspiration Ministries is Your ministry to Your people and to a lost world. May we be fully satisfied in Your finished work on the cross and ever be filled with the Spirit to serve You and others by Your power and grace. 2014 is Your year! Please continue the growth of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We have a tremendous opportunity, Saints, to allow the Lord to unfold this New Year before our very eyes in ways that will shock and awe even the most mature and seasoned Christian veterans. Once again, we celebrated the New Year in prayer and unity here at the Cupbearer Café while worshipping with a local band, Vertical Faith. One thing was clear, we cannot accomplish this without having a full understanding of the Word of God, Jesus Christ’s way of salvation, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

There have been articles written in this newsletter about being born again in Christ into His rest. We are created into a work that has already been completed, and we simply need to receive His gracious invitation to be clothed in His righteousness, be His child, and be a participant in His Kingdom work.

Ambassadors for Christ, in chains and those on this side of the wall, we are called to the ministry of reconciling a fallen world to God the Father. We will be most effective as we walk in the Spirit of God, regarding others higher than ourselves and relinquishing authority of our lives to Christ Jesus. Each day, when you allow the Holy Spirit to direct our steps by acknowledging the Lord, it will have eternal implications in the lives of the men and women around you.

2014 is going to be remembered as a year of growth like we have never seen before. Remember, 23 newsletters ago we declared that the flag waving in the air will represent the Kingdom of God, and we have not wavered in our position. Inspiration is a vehicle from which the Good News will be preached, and Holy Spirit will teach us what it is to abide by the law of the Spirit of Life (Romans 8).

Brethren, be awakened by great expectation of God’s supernatural ability to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or think, according to the power that works within us (Ephesians 3:20). It is His good pleasure to will and work in our lives, so hold onto your hat as the Lord makes true disciples out of your closest friends and your worst enemies. Pray for the presence of God to envelope you, and spur you into service for the King of Kings, Jesus Christ, the only name that is worthy to be praised. In Him only will we find fullness of joy, peace in our spirit, and life in abundance. Hallelujah!

Be inspired this New Year!

I don’t say that lightly and here’s why: “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV).
