2015: Volume 4

Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” Therefore many other  signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples…but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:29b-31

Letter from the Editor

I hope that during this Easter season, as we reflect upon the cross and the empty tomb, we realize that our risen Lord endured much so that we would have life. He bore our pain, shame, and punishment so that we would be able to celebrate the joy of our salvation. Let us rise up and sing, Church. Hallelujah!

Drum roll please……………….may we introduce Ms. LillyAnn Michelle Foster! Yes, the Fosters are taking the idea of growing the church serious, and we just increased that number by one. Kirsten and I are so thankful to our Lord Jesus for giving us this precious gift. We want to sincerely say thank you for the hundreds who have written and told us that you were praying for us. Those prayers were answered. It wasn’t the easiest delivery, and Lilly is certainly a miracle baby, but everybody is doing great, albeit with a little less sleep than usual. A new chapter has begun for us and the ministry, one we believe is going to have a tremendous effect on the Kingdom work in which God has called us.

I imagine there is a prevailing theory that with a child comes the lack of motivation to do anything else except be with that child. For example, now that my beautiful daughter is actually here, my determination to see Inspiration Ministries flourish as a vessel for His honor could potentially diminish. I have to admit, I enjoy my daddy, daughter time; however, in the same respect, I must realize that Lilly will one day find herself in the very same category as those who we are trying to reach: the marginalized. Regardless of my position as a minister leader, my daughter will one day have to make her own decision to believe, accept, and surrender to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Just knowing that God would entrust Kirsten and I to such a task sets my fire ablaze for souls to be made alive by salvation and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Church, I ask you to join us in an effort to reach more men and women for the Kingdom of God. We are in this work together. In fact, I believe it is you that God wants to use to stir revival in hearts, compounds, communities, and in our country. Let our complacency be nailed to the cross and our zeal be resurrected from the grave. A risen Savior’s commission followed by the Comforter’s arrival preceded thousands receiving salvation and the beginning of the church as Jesus intended. Why should our expectations be any lower? The Lord has entrusted us as ambassadors of His reconciliation in this lost world. May the Gospel of Jesus Christ quicken our feet and be ever on our lips! Amen. We love you, Brethren.

Inspired by His faithfulness,

Andrew L. Foster
