2015: Volume 4

The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. Psalm 37:39-40

Letter from the Editor

There may never be a time that I write this letter from the director and say, “I am totally ready to write about everything going on with the ministry.” The Lord has been gracious in His vision and provision for Inspiration Ministries. We find ourselves in constant amazement of God’s desire to make IM His ministry.

LillyAnn, the newest member of the IM team, is doing great. In these early days of her life, we are in awe of her every move and sound. She is such a precious miracle, and after the intensity of the delivery room, we are not annoyed by her crying, but rather overjoyed by her life. Thank you, Jesus.

Church, we have been praying together about the possibility of a house to be used for transition here in Auburn, and we believe the opportunity is right around the corner. Four months ago, I passed a house that was going up for auction here in town. With the short time frame, we didn’t have much choice in preparing. It was something that we had never experienced, so I had to submit it to the Lord and allow it to be His timing. Well, earlier this month, I met the guy who bought the house at the auction. After a discussion about our purpose and mission, he agreed to sell us not only the house, but also the empty lot beside it for a possible future build. Hallelujah!

So, the Lord has been filling our storehouse. In the last three weeks, we have seen over $9,000 come in towards the $10,000 down payment. People are donating toiletries, beds, clothes, and signing up for the opportunity to be a mentor. Let’s keep praying that the power of the Holy Spirit will break through all things the enemy raises up to be hindrances.

I hope you feel the tug like I do to get deeper with the Lord Jesus Christ. When that chest-tightening feeling comes on me as I look at my lists, agendas, and calendars, I realize all the more that I need to submit it all to the Lord and find rest at His feet. I have recently been reading scriptures referring to “walking with the Lord.” I have been drawn to foundational concepts like walking by faith or walking in the Spirit and acknowledging that sometimes do such a poor job of engaging with God. But I rejoice that we serve a God that is greater than hearts when we start to feel that condemnation (1 John 3: 19-21).

Time is of the essence and revival is in the air. Brothers and Sisters, let us stand firm on the testimony that Christ is in full control of our lives. Let us remain dependent on the Holy Spirit for guidance and wisdom as we enter into a season where the Lord is going to increase His Kingdom here on Earth. Amen!

Inspired by Christ Jesus our Lord,

Andrew L. Foster Inspiration Ministries, Director

  • robert miller"A year ago my world was shifted. I was discouraged, alone, and in need of something/someone to embrace me. It would be pious to say, “All I needed was the assurance that the Lord was with me,” because reality is sometimes you don’t feel that more

  • david owen"The newsletter is an integral part of my daily spiritual walk in prison. I don’t say that lightly and here’s why: “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV). The newsletter is primarily written by prisoners and ex-prisoners for more
