2016: Inspired by Him Volume 5

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

Letter from the Editor

2016! Unbelievable! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Ladies and gentlemen, what an honor to be writing you at the beginning of our fifth year of ministry. God is so good and gracious and His everlasting gift of salvation and provision has us motivated for a season of surprise and wonder. During times of prayer and organization for Inspiration Ministries, we believe God is stirring our spirits in preparation for great  things. We trust you are able to walk in the same spirit of expectation in your life.

You can join us in our excitement in anticipation of blessings to come in the form of friends and ministry. We are praying for another visit from our Minstrel Minister, Greg Lamoureux, who you will hear from in this newsletter. Ministry   partners, Dan Evans and his family, are entering into a new season of prison ministry in Florida. Many of you have met Dan as he has visited your prison. And many of you have met Dan Utz with Clearwater Ministries traveling through the Bible belt. Also, we are in prayer for Brother Wilson Gonzalez, who was with me at Quincy Annex, FL when Inspiration Ministries was birthed. He has been released from prison, but is currently being detained while his citizenship is being determined. We are trusting the Lord for favorable results. If released, you may get to see a picture of us together in ministry here in Auburn, Indiana. And lastly, Inspiration is hoping to go Behind the Walls, visiting more prisons and jails.

And most importantly, we are humbled by the opportunity to be ambassadors for Christ, sharing the word of reconciliation to those we meet every day. I am married to a wonderful wife and surrounded by a ministry family that understands what it means to be transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. This is what drives us to share the Good News every single day in all facets of Inspiration Ministries, whether serving a mocha at the Cupbearer Café, helping someone find the perfect Bible in the Upword Living Christian Bookstore, or being available every day to minister to folks that walk in our doors looking for peace amidst the chaos of life.

We are praying for you, Brothers and Sisters. We are in this Kingdom work together. We know that it cannot be nor do we want it to be any other way. We are functioning parts of one body to serve and be examples of Christ. Don’t ever let anybody ever tell you differently. You matter to Jesus, so you matter to us. Join me in submitting all livelihood, ministry, thoughts, and expectations to the foot of the cross where Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, is going to blow our hair back when we get clarity on His plans for this new year. Blessings!
