Letter from the Editor

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Wow, July already! The Lord is so gracious to take what our finite minds can think of and far exceed our expectations. The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is changing lives all around us. I was recently interviewed for the local paper about my testimony and Inspiration Ministries. I expressed the fact that God afforded us all the opportunity to be New Creations by sacrificing His Son, Jesus, on the cross. He has given us a white stone declaring us innocent and given us a new name (Revelation 2:17). Hallelujah! If that doesn’t get you excited, you might want to check your pulse.

Six years ago I started writing in a journal about ministry, life after prison, and being an ambassador of Christ no longer in chains. The fact is that as I have seen the Lord bring to fruition almost everything in that journal, He has far surpassed what I could have ever thought. Not only are we blessed with the opportunity to make an effectual difference in people’s lives every single day, we have seen the favor and provision of God in our lives personally. Kirsten and I have enjoyed watching our LillyAnn grow up for 15 months, and we have seen the Lord surround us with people that support and care about us. What a blessing!

We are experiencing revival in our spirits as a family and ministry, as well as seeing incredible things here in Northeast Indiana. There are gatherings going on all around us that are lifting up the name of Jesus. I am blessed to emcee many events in our community and share how the Lord increases His Spirit when we are willing to submit and give it all to Jesus! Not always easy, but always fruitful. We have another revival service on July 14th and are praying for the Holy Spirit to draw men and women to the Lord for salvation.

Speaking of revival, Anthony Ponds has reported that God is doing great things at Putnam CI in Florida. The Holy Spirit is softening hearts to receive the Gospel. He said men on the compound are joining in fellowship and prayer on behalf of their compound. That is where it starts men, keep it up for Jesus!

Lastly, our 4th annual Freedom Fest is coming up on August 20th. This is where the community comes together to raise funds for Inspiration Ministries and it’s Behind the Walls ministry, including the newsletters and our teams visiting prisons. We would love to hear from you, and share how you have been blessed by Inspiration Ministries. We read these testimonies all day at the event. We are in this together. Jesus loves you, and we love you.

Be inspired and revived by HIM,

Andrew L. Foster
