2016: Inspired by Him Volume 5

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19a

March, Issue 2

Letter from the Editor

Where does the time go? March! At the end of this month, we can officially say that ¼ of 2016 is in the books. I pray that you have experienced a great pouring out of God’s spirit just as we have here in Auburn, Indiana. We have been blessed with the Lord’s provision for the ministry as well as His favor in sharing the Gospel to those that have walked in these doors. Hallelujah!

Just a few weeks ago, I prayed with Chris and Destiny to receive Christ as Savior of their lives. I shared that it is up to them to respond to Jesus so that those prayers are not just mere words. We must have a desire to make Jesus Lord as well. Without surrendering to Jesus, we are missing a piece of that relationship that gives us the opportunity to trust Him in all our circumstances. Pray for Drew, Damon, and Jacob as well, who may know of God, but need to lay their lives down at the foot of the cross. Today is the day of salvation.

We are proud to be publishing testimonies from Franklin and Dennis this month, two men that are doing well in their transition from prison. Please pray for their spiritual development as Christ wants to hold the reigns of their lives. Brothers and Sisters, I pray that we truly understand that Jesus is not only looking to transition us from point A to point B. His desire is to transform our lives from the inside out. He wants us to be New Creations.

The spirit of Revival is hovering over Northeast Indiana, looking for those He can engage in sharing the Gospel and being disciple-makers. I am trusting the Lord to bring us into a Season of Engagement where we are seeking the presence and power of God in intercession. Our prayer is that by praying, the Lord will orchestrate His schedule in equipping the saints to encounter the community with Christ’s message of salvation. And just as important, I believe the Lord wants to sustain the saints and new Christians through discipleship so that they may continually be released to be fishers of men.

We covet your prayers. After all, we are in this Kingdom-work together. We have experienced that same spirit of revival Behind the Walls, and we know Jesus is looking for those that are ready to pick up their crosses and follow Him. Are you ready be the kind of Christ-follower we have been called to be? Through the power of the Holy Spirit, and by allowing the Word of God to be a lamp to our feet, there is nothing that we cannot accomplish through Christ Jesus.

Some speak of an end-times revival coming. Whether Jesus is coming back soon or not, I know that a Revival Fire is here right now, and we must turn our faces to Him during this new season. Oh, Lord Jesus, fill these vessels to overflowing!   Until next time, Saints, be inspired by HIM,

  • robert miller"A year ago my world was shifted. I was discouraged, alone, and in need of something/someone to embrace me. It would be pious to say, “All I needed was the assurance that the Lord was with me,” because reality is sometimes you don’t feel that more

  • david owen"The newsletter is an integral part of my daily spiritual walk in prison. I don’t say that lightly and here’s why: “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV). The newsletter is primarily written by prisoners and ex-prisoners for more
