New Creations

Inspiration Ministries is helping people turn their moments of transition into times of transformation.

For the past four years, Inspiration Ministries has operated one of the most comprehensible plans for transition in DeKalb County because our goal is not to see somebody simply achieve objectives, but to undergo a total renewing of their minds through Christ Jesus. Inspiration Ministries applies six key principles:

  1. Spiritual Transformation
  2. Career Building
  3. Character Building
  4. Stewardship
  5. Secure Housing
  6. Secure Transportation

Inspiration Ministries is committed to helping people achieve their potential in Christ Jesus, becoming New Creations. This involves more than housing, employment, and addiction recovery. Though these are all important, we recognize that reconciliation to God through Jesus is the foundation of permanent change in a person’s life.

Inspiration Ministries works directly with men and women who are coming out of incarceration, struggling with addiction, and looking for employment in hopes to transform them into positive role models of change for the DeKalb community. The people with the greatest need for transformation are often the ones most disconnected from society. Inspiration Ministries is going to change that.

This is a team effort, and Inspiration Ministries is blessed to partner with over a dozen churches and agencies to achieve a better way to serve others. Join with us in the effort to see lives be transformed.

  • robert miller"A year ago my world was shifted. I was discouraged, alone, and in need of something/someone to embrace me. It would be pious to say, “All I needed was the assurance that the Lord was with me,” because reality is sometimes you don’t feel that more

  • david owen"The newsletter is an integral part of my daily spiritual walk in prison. I don’t say that lightly and here’s why: “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV). The newsletter is primarily written by prisoners and ex-prisoners for more
