God’s grace and mercy has saved my life and taken it in a whole new direction.

It has been over a year since God pulled me out of the fire and sat me down for a timeout. I had starting using methamphetamine after some tremendous loss in my life. Using drugs and alcohol to stop the pain, loneliness, anxiety, and nightmares was just the start. When I buried my husband in grace that bears both our names, I felt shackles and chains pulling me in as I waited to join him. I was tending that grave.

God found me in a jail cell begging for forgiveness, for my family, and for home. He brought me a verse from Matthew 19:26, “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” I really started digging into my Bible and reading with unveiled eyes to see what God wanted with my life. Asking Him into my heart and giving Him all those fears, anxieties, doubts, and worries released the shackles and chains from my life. God has closed the doors to all paths that lead to sin and unrighteousness and opened those that bring me closer to Him.

God has called me to help His lost sheep find their way home. When He first sent this to me, I did not know what that meant; now I do. Luke 15:7, “Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”

God’s grace and mercy has saved my life and taken it in a whole new direction. He led me to Inspiration where I have learned to let God take control and be the head of everything I do. He has plans to prosper and not let evil into my life. He loves me and I am never alone again. I am His and I am made for so much more.

He has started restoring the relationships with my family and given me a whole new family in Christ. God is transforming my life and giving me a purpose. Thank you to the staff of Inspiration for walking beside me on this journey; you all are truly doing God’s work and I love each and every one of you.
